The Courtiers

Returning for a second year, The Courtiers draw their influences from traditional folk music from these islands and beyond playing a mix of tunes and songs on fiddle, flutes, guitar and bouzouki plus an intriguing rhythm section on foot-drum! Jay Jupe with the Leigh Park Community Singers

Jay grew up in Leigh Park, and has an amazing tenor voice. He’s on track to become one of the UK’s foremost singers in a few years, so come and hear him before Covent Garden snaps him up!

The Renaissance Choir

Saturday 25th April, 7:30pm. Italian Renaissance Masters
The choir will be singing music from Italy, including Scarlatti, Carreira, Victoria and Palestrina. The choir will sing a balance of intensively beautiful sacred works and jaunty secular pieces.

Elizabeth-Jane Baldry Harp Recital

Sunday 26th April, 3:00pm. This concert is part of the 850th Commemoration of Thomas à Becket’s murder in Canterbury Cathedral.

Elizabeth-Jane is an internationally acclaimed harpist, who grew up in Emsworth. She returns after her wonderful performance at the 2nd Havant Music Festival to take you on a Musical Journey through Eight Centuries – a Harp Concert to commemorate 850 years since Thomas à Becket’s death.

Spirit of the South supported by young Local Singers

Spirit of the South are a local women’s choir who sing a cappella arrangements of songs, in 4 part harmony, in a variety of popular genres, from traditional, through the 60s to the present day. They will sing a varied programme.

Take a trip down memory lane with the Cowplain Ukulele Players

Cowplain Ukulele Players are an established band with around 50 instrumentalists playing a variety of ukuleles from sopranos to base. We enjoy playing and singing popular music from the 40s to the present day, allowing us to entertain young school children through to the more elderly generation. We are always well received and best of all is the pleasure we experience in making people happy.

Meridian after dark with the Urban Vocal Group

Come and hear the amazing talent of our youngsters and their parents. It was their concert in September 2016 that triggered the idea of the Havant Music Festival which started in March 2017.

Michael, Vanessa and Tilly Hawes, The Sunbeams, are a family acoustic trio from Hayling Island.

The Sunbeams acoustic music covers an extensive mix of music genres including Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Retro and Country Music, and it’s growing all the time. From well known covers from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Eric Clapton, Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Beatles, The Temptations, The Everly Brothers and The Eagles to more recent covers from Paloma Faith, Adele, Kinks and Coldplay. The Sunbeams have a music repertoire to suit everyone and will help you to create a memorable event for you and your guests.


Peter Roger’s Guitar Recital with support from Graham Elliot on cello

Saturday 2nd May, 3:00pm
Peter qualified from the University of Chichester with first class honours in classical guitar performance, having studied with Paul Gregory and Amanda Cook. Peter’s recitals take you on a journey across the world and through time.

Graham is a cellist of international experience, who has played with leading musicians of the 20th century. He will illustrate some Bach pieces, and after the interval play one of his favourites.

Central Hall Community Gospel Choir

Saturday 2nd May, 7:30pm

We are a friendly bunch of people who get together to sing. Actually there is a bit more to it than that. We sing at about 12 -15 events per year, such as festivals, fêtes, weddings, funerals, and of course concerts.

Our repertoire includes a very wide range of music, not just traditional gospels and spirituals, but African songs, modern songs and standards. They are usually arranged specially for us by our director Penny Hastings in 4 part harmony. This is our 3rd visit to the Havant Music Festival.
